UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

SLP (C) No(s). 25924-25925/2023 (Item No.60)

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states that the proforma respondents, who were petitioners in the writ petition before the High Court, want to transpose themselves as petitioners before this Court. We, therefore, permit the proforma respondents, who were petitioners before the High Court, to transpose themselves as the petitioners by filing an amended memo of title along with vakalatnama of the concerned proforma respondents. Needful shall be done during the course of the week.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states that all the proforma respondents will be transposed as the petitioners. We, therefore, clarify that the interim relief granted earlier by this Court will continue to operate even in relation to the said

proforma respondents.

Our attention is invited to the order dated 5th September, 2023 passed by the High Court (Annexure P-14).

The learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners states that after a representation was made by the petitioners to the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA), the petitioners have been informed to make a representation to the Municipal Corporation. We, accordingly, direct the petitioners to make a representation within a maximum period of one week from today to the Municipal Corporation. Needless to add that the petitioners will file the necessary documents.

The learned senior counsel appearing for the Municipal Corporation states that the said representation will be decided within two weeks from the date on which the same is made.

List on 16th January, 2024.

In the meanwhile, the petitioners shall not be evicted.
