UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

1 Mr G S Mani, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, submits that there was a specific allegation that an amount of Rs 4,00,000 was given in instalments not only to the first accused, but also to the second respondent (second accused – Bharathi) as a consideration for the employment of the deceased spouse of the petitioner in the secretariat of the government. Reliance has been placed on the articles of charge (Annexure P-14) and, hence, it has been submitted that the High Court was not justified in passing an order for quashing the charges.
