The issues which arise for consideration in this case are (a) whether the constitution of the arbitral tribunal was constituted contrary to the provisions of Section 10 (2) and Section 12 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended by 2015 amendment); (b) whether the time could be repetitively extended by the Court under the provisions of Section 29A of the Act? and (c) whether the High Court ought to have exercised jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for granting extension of time.
