UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

The scheme has been filed. There are certain concerns of the respondents as retired people as they say that the Union may not be able to look after their interests as they are more concerned with the current working people while the Scheme is

for the benefit of the retired people. The following concerns have been expressed :

a) It is the say of the respondents that since the service books of the concerned persons are with the appellant, there is no need for filing the applications on behalf of the retired employees or providing any structure for scrutiny in appeal thereof; b) The pension is sought to be restricted w.e.f. July, 2021 and it is stated that persons have retired at different stages of time from 2000 onwards;

Learned counsel for the appellants submits that the MD of the appellant is also the Secretary of the department concerned and he has made a lot of effort to resolve this controversy. The hope is expressed that whatever remaining issues need to be ironed out, the same would be capable of being resolved. In order to give better assistance in this behalf, it is agreed that the respondents between themselves will agree to three representatives with whom virtual interaction can take place.

Learned counsel for the parties also state that if there is still some creases are to be ironed out, they will leave it to the Court so that an end
