Perused the letter. Four weeks time, as prayed for, is granted to enable the learned counsel for the respondent No.41 to file counter affidavit. Rejoinder affidavit, if any, be filed within four weeks thereafter. The office report dated 19.8.2011 mentions that in SLP (C) Nos.6578-6583/2008, service of notice is not complete upon respondent Nos.1, 2, 4 to 7, 16, 21, 26, 28 and 29 whereas in SLP (C) Nos.7697- 7702/2008, service of notice is not complete upon respondent Nos. 4 to 6, 21, 26 and 28 whereas in SLP (C) Nos.7980-7985/2008, service of notice is not complete upon respondent Nos.1, 2, 4 to 6, 15, 20, 25, 27 and 28 whereas in SLP (C) Nos.7990-7995/2008, service of notice is not complete upon respondent Nos.1, 19, 24, 29 and 33 whereas in SLP (C) Nos.9656- 9661/2008, service of notice is not complete upon respondent Nos.1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 10 to 12, 14 to 21, 25 and legal representative Nos. (i) and (iii) of deceased respondent No.26. - 3 - The learned counsel for the petitioners in SLP (C) Nos.6578-6583/2008, prays to permit that unserved

respondents be permitted to be served by way of substituted service. His prayer is accepted. In rest of the matters, the petitioners are directed to take steps for the purpose of effecting service upon those respondents who are not served within four weeks from today.
