Heard Mr. L. Nageshwar Rao learaned Additional Solicitor General for the petitioners. He states that some two thousands contract employees who faced disciplinary proceedings are involved in similar matters. It is, therefore, desirable that the Trade Unions or Associations of the employees to join as respondents so that the decision binding on them could be arrived. He also states that more than seventy contempt petitions have been moved against the petitioners. That being so, he seeks time to file an appropriate I.A. to seek stay of those contempt proceedings as well as to join Trade Unions representing the workmen.
List on 18th November, 2013.
Mr. Rao further states that the petitioners will as well serve the proposed respondent Unions in advance.
