Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents is present.

  1. The respondent No.2 has filed the counter-affidavit in this matter. Learned Assistant Government Pleader reported no instructions.

  2. On verifying the proceeding sheet, it is observed that, on 28.04.2016, it was stated that there shall be a direction to the police-authorities not to interfere in any civil disputes between the petitioner and the un-official respondent or pressurize settlement thereof.

  3. In view of the interim orders, this Court feels that, no orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition and hence the same is liable to be closed.

  4. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, interlocutory applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
