ORDER:- (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Cheekati Manavendranath Roy)
This writ petition is filed challenging the legal validity of the impugned order of preventive detention passed against the detenu.

At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the period of detention has been completed and the detenu was already released from the jail.

Learned Government Pleader also would submit on instructions that the period of detention has been completed and the detenu was already released from the jail.

In that view of the matter, nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication.

Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in the Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
