Shri Chandan Bhagat, learned counsel for the applicant and Shri Umesh Chandra Verma, learned A.G.A for the State are present.

The present transfer application has been filed to transfer the Case No. 1230 of 2019 (State Vs. Pooja Sharma and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 648 of 2018 under Sections 420 and 406 of I.P.C pending in the court o Chief Judicial Magistrate, Baghpat to any other competent court of district judgeship, Meerut.

Learned counsel for the applicant is the first informant of the above noted case. It is further submitted on 25.05.2023 when the applicant reached near district court Baghpat, opposite party nos. 2 and 5 and two other unknown persons blocked her way and threatened to compromise. It is further submitted that on 26.05.2023 the applicant moved an application before the SSP Baghpat through a registered post. It is further submitted that on 06.09.2023 opposite party nos. 2 and 5 again threatened the applicant with dire consequences and the applicant again moved an application to SSP Baghpat.

Learned counsel for the applicant fairly admits that there is a Witness Protection Committee headed by the Sessions Judge Baghpat.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, the present transfer application has no merit and it deserves to be dismissed.

Accordingly, the present transfer application is dismissed.
