UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
1. Heard learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State and carefully perused the material placed on record.

3. In this view of the matter, the interim protection granted to the petitioner vide order dated 02.01.2024 is made absolute, and he shall continue on bail during the pending of the Reason:
trial, subject to the following conditions:
(i) The petitioner shall furnish one additional surety, who should be a local solvent person and a permanent resident of the State of Uttarakhand. (ii) The petitioner shall continue to appear before the Trial Court regularly unless granted exemption.
4. The Special Leave Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
5. As a result, the pending interlocutory applications stand disposed of.
