UPON hearing the counsel the court made the following O R D E R
- Mr. Tushar Mehta, learned Solicitor General states that the issue raised in the Petitions for Special Leave to Appeal needs consideration by this Court for the reason that the MoU dated 06th June, 2006 covers 25,000 contractual employees and the ramifications of this order are wide spread. However, in view of the fact that only 59 respondents are before this Court in the present batch of petitions and the monetary involvement is limited to approximately 1,00,00,000/- ₹ (Rupees One crore only), the petitioner is ready and willing to release the said amount in favour of the respondents, without prejudice to its rights and contentions as raised in the present petitions.
