UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant has submitted that he is the owner of the truck, and sealed containers were being lifted by a crane within the premises of the ICD when the leakage of gas took place.
On this ground, it has been urged that the National Green Tribunal was in error in subjecting the appellant to an award of damages in the amount of Rs 50 lakhs.
Issue notice returnable in four weeks.
In the meanwhile, the aforesaid direction in the impugned order dated 24 October 2018 of the National
Green Tribunal as against the appellant shall remain stayed.
