-
- In the instant set of SLPs, only one Diary Number is given in respect of six SLPs, arising out of the common impugned order.
-
- There are some I.A.s filed seeking permission to file SLPs, seeking condonation of delay in filing - refiling SLPs etc., however there is no clarity as to which I.A. has been filed in respect of which SLP. Digitally signed by RAVI ARORA Date: 2024.04.08 15:38:51 IST Reason: Signature Not Verified

-
- Such confusions are invariably created in case of group matters arising out of a common judgment of the High Court in Land acquisition matters. In many cases, even separate cause titles are also not filed in the SLPs. We have passed orders in other matters directing the Registry to look into the matter and work out some better method or system for registering the I.A.s and SLPs separately with absolute clarity as to which I.A. is filed in which SLP and which SLP is arising out of which proceedings of the High Court/ Tribunal or any other forum.
-
- Till the Registry undertakes the exercise of finding out better method/ system, following directions are given –
- (i) Registry shall register each SLP giving separate numbers though arising out of common impugned order, and shall give separate Diary number for each SLP whenever there are defects in the SLPs.
- (ii) The SLP Petitioners shall file separate cause title for each SLP if arising out of a common impugned order, so that each SLP can be separately numbered.
- (iii) The SLP Petitioners shall file separate I.A.s for each of the SLPs arising out of common impugned order, clearly mentioning as to which I.A. is filed in which SLP.
-
- List the matter(s) after two weeks after separately registering the SLPs and I.A.s with clarity as to which I.A. is filed in which SLP.
