UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

We have heard learned senior counsel for the petitioner at a 1. considerable length and perused the record.

In view of the categorical finding returned by the High Court 2. that possession of substantial part of the acquired land had been taken and in respect of land measuring 664 bigha or so, possession could not be taken due to stay order passed by the High Court, Signatu<del>re Not</del> Veri compensation of more than 111 $\begin{array}{c}\n\text{a.e. } 202\text{--} \ \text{7:18:11} \ \text{3:11} \ \text{3:11}\n\end{array}$ crore, a sum of more than Rs.89 crores had been disbursed to the

land owners, we see no ground to entertain the claim of the petitioner under Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation & Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation & Resettlement Act, 2013. However, if the petitioner has not received his compensation so far, he shall be at liberty to approach the Authorities for payment of the compensation without prejudice to his right to seek further enhancement.

3. The special leave petition is, accordingly, dismissed.

4. All pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
