UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

• 1 Issue notice.
• 2 Dasti, in addition, is permitted.
• 3 Tag with SLP (C) No 25612 of 2023.
• 4 Dr Tushar Mandlekar, counsel appears on behalf of the first respondent and Mr Pai Amit, counsel appears on behalf of the second respondent on caveat in SLP (C) Nos 26172-26174 of 2023 and waive service.
• 5 Counter affidavit, if any, be filed on or before 2 January 2024.
• 6 Having regard to the need to ensure that there is a finality to the resolution of the dispute which pertains to Members of the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission/District Consumer Rederssal Forum, we direct that the matter be listed on 5 January 2024 for final disposal.

• 7 In order to facilitate the submissions before the Bench, it has been agreed that Mr Siddharth Dharmadhikari, counsel appearing on behalf of the State of Maharashtra and Ms Sakshi Kakkar, Advocate-on-Record for the respondent, shall act as the nodal counsel. They shall put together a common compilation of the submissions, pleadings, documents and precedents in terms of the Circular dated 22 August 2023 issued for regulating the course of submissions. This exercise shall be completed on or before 2 January 2024. The common compilation shall be made available to all the parties. The compilation shall be in the electronic form and shall be emailed to [email protected].
• 8 Since there is an ad interim order dated 10 November 2023 passed in SLP (C) No 25612 of 2023 which is in operation, we extend the operation of that order till 5 January 2024.
• 9 List the Special Leave Petitions along with the connected matters and Diary No 48458 of 2023 on 5 January 2024 at the end of the Board.
