IN THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA CIVIL APPELLATE JURISDICTION
CIVIL APPEAL NOS.7766-7767 OF 2019 (Arising out of Special Leave Petition (C) Dy.No.43600/2018

VERSUS
SHIV CHARAN & ORS. RESPONDENT(S)
O R D E R
Delay condoned.
Leave granted.
We had issued notice limited to the question noted in order dated 14.01.2019. After hearing both sides and upon perusal of the decree dated 30.11.1991 in CS No. 443/1991 passed by Senior Sub Judge, Gurgaon at pages 63-64 of Special Leave Petition paper book, we are convinced that the decree is in respect of correction of revenue entries on the basis of title and, therefore, not a decree within the meaning of Section 17 (1)(e) of the Registration Act, 1908 requiring registration thereof. Notably, this decree was sought to be challenged only in the year 2008. In any case, for the reasons recorded, no interference is called for.
Civil Appeals are, accordingly, dismissed.
