The writ petition along with applications above-mentioned was listed before the Hon'ble Court on 29.02.2016, when the Court was pleased to pass the following orders:
"Issue notice by speed post, returnable on 28th March, 2016. Dasti service, in addition, is permitted. Standing counsel shall also be served. Tag with Suo-Motu Writ Petition (C) No.2/2015."
It is submitted that pursuant to the aforesaid order, show cause notice returnable for 28.03.2016 was issued to all the five respondents through speed post only on 09.03.2016 and dasti notice was also handed over to the counsel for the petitioner for effecting service on the respondents as well as on the standing counsel for Union of India, with a request to file affidavit of dasti service along with proof of service. Notice has been served on respondent no. 4 on 11.03.2016 as per the tracking report of the postal authorities but no one has entered appearance so far. The counsel for the petitioner has on 18.03.2016 filed affidavit of dasti service along with proof of service after serving dasti notice on respondent nos. 1 to 4.
Service of notice is awaited on respondent no. 5.
The writ petition along with applications above-mentioned is listed before the Hon'ble Court with this office report.
