UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

Delay condoned.

It is submitted by Mr. Kapil Sibal, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners that the petitioners are entitled to hold their own independent examination. Whether the said submission has any force or not, is another matter. We have been apprised by Mr. Sibal that no examination has been held by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, despite the instructions issued by the N.C.T.E. Regard being had to this situation, issue notice, returnable within six weeks hence.

Dasti, in addition, is permitted.

However, in the meantime, the petitioner-Institution shall not hold any examination.
