UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondent No.8/Complainant who is on caveat and on perusal of the impugned order and bearing in mind the fact that the Writ Petition is to be heard finally by the learned Single Judge, we only direct that the status quo as on today shall continue till the disposal of the Writ Petition. It is needless to observe that if a request is made by the petitioner herein for expeditious disposal of the Writ Petition, the same shall be considered by the High Court in accordance with law and same shall be heard as early as possible with the cooperation of the learned counsel on all sides.

Further, any observation made in the impugned order shall be restricted to the disposal of the appeal by the Division Bench and shall not have any bearing on the consideration of the matter by the learned Single Judge of the High Court.

The special leave petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
