UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
Permission to file special leave petitions is granted.
On the oral request made by learned counsel for the petitioner, Union of India, through Ministry of Mines is ordered to be impleaded as a respondent. The amended memo of parties be filed within one week.
Issue notice.
Ms. Liz Mathew, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of Lawyerson War.
Liberty is granted to serve the other respondents
through dasti notice.
In the meanwhile, the petitioner(s)-exporter(s) shall be permitted to export the limestone subject to the following conditions :
(i) Each exporter shall furnish a bank guarantee of Rupees Seventy Five Lakh each within a week with the Registry of this Court without prejudice to the legal rights of the parties, including the Union of India.
(ii) Directions issued in para 56 of the impugned judgment shall remain stayed till the next date of hearing.
List the matters on a non-miscellaneous day in the the second week of January, 2023.
Learned counsel for the respondents may suggest additional terms and conditions which may be imposed on exporters in public interest and to effectively regulate the export of the limestone, in accordance with law.
