TRANSFER PETITION (CIVIL) NOS. 1958 1967 OF 2016

It is submitted that Mr. V.K. Sidharthan, Advocate has on 6th December, 2016 filed Vakalatnama and Memo of appearance on behalf of Respondent No. 1 in T.P. (C) No. 1962 of 2016.

Service of show cause notice is complete on all the respondents – writ petitioners except Respondent No. 1 in T.P. (C) No. 1967 of 2016.

TRANSFER PETITION (CIVIL) NOS. 1982 1996 OF 2016

It is submitted that Mr. S. Gowthaman, Advocate has on 6th December, 2016 filed Vakalatnama and Memo of appearance on behalf of Respondent No. 1 in T.P. (C) No. 1988 of 2016. Contd...2/

It is further submitted that Mr. Satish Kumar, Advocate has on 7th December, 2016 filed Vakalatnama and memo of appearance on behalf of respondent nos. 1 & 2 in T.P. (C) No. 1984 of 2016, wherein Mr. Kanishk Sinha, respondent no. 1 earlier filed application to appear and argue in person with counter affidavit which has been included in the paper books.

It is also submitted that Mr. Rama Prasad Sarkar, Respondent No. 1 in T.P. (C) No. 1983 of 2016 has on 2nd December, 2016 filed an application to appear and argue in person alongwith the Counter affidavit (Affidavitinopposition) but has not served its copy on the other side. The said application has been registered as Interlocutory Application No. 17 of 2016. Copy of the same has been included in the Paper Books. Accordingly, notice of hearing was issued to him through speed post to appear before the Hon'ble Court on 9th December 2016, however, as per speed post track report, the notice is in the course of transit.

It is lastly submitted that Mr. (Dr.) Kanagasabapathy Sundaram Pillai, respondent no. 1 in T.P. (C) No. 1990 of 2016 has on 6th December, 2016 filed an application for appearing in person alongwith documents that is found defective. Copy of the unregistered application alongwith documents is being circulated herewith for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.

Service of show cause notice is complete on all the respondents – writ petitioners except Respondent No. 1 in T.P. (C) No. 1967 of 2016 and service of notice of hearing on respondent no. 1 in T.P. (C) No. 1983 of 2016 is awaited.

The matters abovementioned are listed before the Hon'ble Court with this Office Report.
