The Writ Petition alongwith other connected matters above mentioned were listed before the Hon'ble Court on 15.11.2016 with office report dated 12.11.2016, when the Court was pleased to pass the following order:-

SECTION PIL (WRIT) MATTER FOR: 25.11.2016 COURT NO. : 01

"We have heard learned counsel for the petitioners at some length.

We have also heard Mr. Mukul Rohatgi, learned Attorney General, who offers to file an affidavit in reply to the writ petitions, answering not only the legal contentions urged in the writ petitions but also enumerating the steps that the Government have taken with a view to avoiding hardship and inconvenience to the common man.

Mr. Kapil Sibal, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner, submits that while some measures have been taken yet some more need to be taken. He proposes to hand over a list of certain additional measures that need to be taken by the Government to prevent any hardship, inconvenience or prejudice to the people.

Mr. Rohatgi submits that he will have no objection to any such suggestions being examined at the appropriate level and such measures, as are considered feasible without in any manner prejudicing the larger purpose underlying the scheme, being taken by the Government.

Post again on Friday, the 25 t h November, 2016.

Additional document/affidavit, if any, be also filed by the petitioner in the meantime."

It is submitted that Dr. Jayendrasinh Jadeja, Applicant-in-person has on 21.11.2016 filed applications for impleadment and permission to allow the applicant to appear & argue in person. The said applications have been registered as I.A. No. 3 & 4 respectively and the same are being circulated for the kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.

It is further submitted that the application for permission to appear & argue in person, i.e. I.A. No. 4 in Writ Petition above-mentioned was placed before the Ld. Registrar and interaction with the Petitioner-in-person by the Ld. Registrar has been done on 23.11.2016. (Copy of the Report of the Ld. Registrar dated 23.11.2016 is enclosed herewith for the kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court).

It is next submitted that Mr. Vivek Narayan Sharma, Petitioner-in-person has on 18.11.2016 and also on 22.11.2016 filed additional affidavit on behalf of the petitioner and the same are being circulated for the kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.

It is submitted that Mr. Vivek Narayan Sharma, Petitioner-in-person have on 22.11.2016 filed an application for impleadment to implead Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as Party Respondent. The said application has been registered as I.A. No. 5 and the same is being circulated for the kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.

It is further submitted that Mrs. Anil Katiyar, Advocate has on 24.11.2016 filed affidavit on behalf of Union of India with the permission of the Hon'ble Court. The said affidavit is being circulated herewith for the kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.

W.P. (C) NO. 913 of 2016

It is submitted that Mr. Varun Punia, Advocate for the petitioner has on 19.11.2016 filed Vakalatnama/Appearance after taking No objection Certificate from Mr. Kamal Mohan Gupta, erstwhile Advocate for the Petitioner.

It is next submitted that Mr. Varun Punia, Advocate for the petitioner has on 23.11.2016 filed an application for Compensation for Demonetization Death. The said application has been registered as I.A. No. 1 and the same is being circulated for the kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.

W.P. (C) NO. 916 of 2016

It is submitted that Mrs. Sarla Chandra, Advocate has on 18.11.2016 filed an application for impleadment on behalf of applicant viz – Md. Sirajuddin alongwith Vakalatnama/Appearance praying therein to implead the applicant as petitioner. The said application has been registered as I.A. No. 3 and the same is being circulated for the kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.

It is further submitted that Mr. V. K. Biju, Counsel for the petitioner has on 22.11.2016 filed Additional Affidavit (in Volume I & II) on behalf of the petitioner. The said affidavit is being circulated for the kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.

It is next submitted that Ms. Pratiksha Sharma, Advocate has on 23.11.2016 filed an application for intervention alongwith Vakalatnama/Appearance on behalf of Ram Khaderu M. Yadav & Anr. The said application has been registered as I.A. No. 4 and the same is being circulated for the kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.

The Interlocutory Application No. 2 (Application for Stay) in Writ Petition (C) No. 916 of 2016 was listed before the Hon'ble Court on 18.11.2016, when the court was pleased to pass the following order:-
