Mr. Tom Joseph, learned counsel appearing for the respondent (in Civil Appeal No. 14131 of 2015) submits that his client does not wish to avail any relief based upon the impugned judgment dated 29.09.2014. Accordingly, it is submitted that the Civil Appeal No. 14131 of 2015 can be allowed in favour of the appellants qua the respondent in the Civil Appeal No. 14131 of 2015.

The appellants are represented by the learned counsel Mr. Abhishek Babbar. The State of Punjab is represented by Ms. Roohehina Dua, learned counsel.

Noting the above submission of the counsel from the side of the respondent (in Civil Appeal No. 14131 of 2015), the IA No. 58454 of 2021 is allowed and the Civil Appeal No. 14131 of 2015 is ordered to be closed upholding the impugned judgment of the High Court vis-a-vis the present respondent in the Civil appeal No. 14131 of 2015.
