UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
Ld.counsel for the States of Orissa, West Bengal, Manipur, Andaman & Nicobar (UT), Union of India, Maharashtra, Chhatisgarh State of Karnataka have stated that the copies of the pleadings have not been provided to them by the petitioner. Ld.counsel for the petitioner is directed to provide the copies of the pleadings to the Ld.counsel for the above respondents within a week's time and file proof. Ld.counsel shall file the counter affidavit within a period of four weeks thereafter.
Ld.counsel representing the State of Punjab seeks and is given four weeks time to rectify the defects whatever found in the counter affidavit filed by him.
Mr.Kundan Kr. Mishra, Ms.Pragati Neekhra & Ms.K.Enatoli, Ld.counsel appear for the States of Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh & Nagaland respectively. They seek and are given four weeks time to file the vakalatnama and the counter affidavit.
The office report states that the notice sent to the respondent Nos.33 & 35 has been received back with the remarks "incomplete address,without department name". Therefore, the Ld.counsel for the petitioner is directed to file the fresh particulars of the said respondents within a period of three weeks. He shall also take fresh steps for the service of notice to them and to the other unserved respondents within the same period.
