Learned counsel for the applicant proposes to file an independent SLP against the impugned judgment instead of

pressing this application for addition of the applicant as a party petitioner. The application is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to seek such redress as may otherwise be permissible in law. We make it clear that we express no opinion whether or not a special leave petition against the impugned judgment is maintainable at the instance of the petitioner.
