Mr. Yashraj Deora, learned Senior Counsel submits that the matters pertain to illegal occupation of official quarters by the respondent employees, well beyond their superannuation. In similar cases where the High Court ordered for deduction of normal (not penal) rent from the employees, notice was issued.

In the meantime, the operation of the impugned orders are stayed.
