Writ Petition(s)(Civil) No(s). 1155/2017
Ms. Pinky Anand, learned ASG has produced a copy of letter dated July 07, 2018 as per which the Haj Committee of India has, pursuant to the directions of this Court contained in order dated March 13, 2018, decided as under:
"Haj Committee of India issued a Circular No. 22 dated 25th April, 2018 calling for passports/undertaking from the 5th timer pilgrims between the age (65-69) within the quota of the State. Accordingly (547) 5th timer pilgrims between (65-69) agreed to proceed to Haj and they were selected, 505 pilgrims didn't agree to the conditions and decline to proceed. This quota has been transferred to general waiting list of the particular State."
