1 On the oral request of counsel for the appellant, the Union of India is permitted to be impleaded as a party respondent. Amended memo of parties be filed within a week.

• 2 Issue notice on the applications for condonation of delay in filing the appeals and on the appeals.
• 3 Tag with Civil Appeal Diary No 36830 of 2022.
• 4 In the meantime, the direction issued by the National Green Tribunal requiring the State of Maharashtra to deposit an amount of Rs 12000 crores as compensation in a "separate ring-fenced account" shall remain stayed.
