The issue raised in this writ petition is with regard to the implementation of the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006.

The contention of the petitioners is that the Act is not being implemented in letter and spirit.

Issue notice to the Union of India (Respondent No.1) returnable in four weeks.

Dasti, in addition, is permitted.
