The Civil Appeal above mentioned was listed before Ld. Registrar Court on 29th July, 2016, when the Court was pleased to pass the following order:

"Respondent nos. 1,11,13 and 15 are granted four weeks time for filing counter affidavit. None appears for respondent nos. 2 to 10,12,14 and 16 to 21 despite due service. List again on 30.9.2016."

It is submitted that Counsel for respondent Nos. 1,11,13 and 15 have not filed counter affidavit in the matter so far. Service is complete on respondent nos. 2 to 7, 9, 10,,12,14 and 16 to 21 but no one has entered appearance on its behalf. Service is complete in the matter.

It is further submitted that Mr. C.K. Rai, Advocate has on 28.09.2016 filed vakalatnama on behalf of Respondent No. 8 i.e. "Tamil Nadu Electricity Board" in the matter abovementioned, but the same is found defective for the reason that the stamp affixed on the Vakalatnama is of "Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd." which is not the said respondent in the matter.

The matters abovementioned is listed before the Ld. Registrar's Court with this office report.
