The matters above mentioned were listed before the Hon'ble Court on

16.11.2015 when the court was pleased to pass the following order:

"We have heard M/s. P. Chidambaram and Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, learned senior counsel appearing for the appellants in the matters. Issue notice, returnable after four weeks. However, in the meantime, no coercive steps should be taken against the appellants including in terms of the notice which has been issued by the concerned authorities."

The matters above mentioned were again listed before the Hon'ble Court on 19.02.2016 when the Court was pleased to pass the following order:

"Perused the letter.

List the matters after four weeks to enable the learned counsel for the appellant to file rejoinder affidavit."

CIVIL APPEAL No. 9291 OF 2015

It is submitted that notice was issued on 24.11.2015 to all the 45 respondents through registered A.D. Mr. Saurabh Mishra, Pradeep Mishra, Chandra Prakash and M/s Khaitan & Co., Advocates have entered vakalatnama on behalf of respondent nos. 1 , 25, 32 to 36, 3 and 19 respectively but have not filed counter affidavit. Ms. Hemantika Wahi, Advocate has entered vakalatnama on behalf of respondent no. 7 and has also filed counter affidavit. Mr. Pramod Dayal, Advocate has entered vakalatnama on behalf of respondent no. 2 and has also filed reply in the matter. (Copies are circulated herewith) Duly signed A.D. Cards have been received back in respect of respondent nos. 30 and 45 but no one has entered appearance on their behalf. Neither A.D. Card nor unserved cover have been received back in respect of respondent nos. 4 to 6, 8 to 18, 20 to 24, 26 to 29, 31 and 37 to 44. Service is incomplete.

It is further submitted that Counsel for the appellant has on 17.02.2016 and 13.04.2016 filed Rejoinder affidavit to the reply filed by respondent no. 7 and respondent no. 2 respectively.

It is lastly submitted that Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, Advocate has on 03.03.2016 filed vakalatnama on behalf of "Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd." He has also filed a copy of Resolution on 29.04.2016 which shows that the name of the respondent no. 29 has been changed from "North Delhi Power Ltd" to "Tata Power Delhi Distribution Company Ltd." Counsel for the appellant has not taken steps to get the name changed of respondent no. 29 in the matter so far.

CIVIL APPEAL No. 13370 OF 2015

It is submitted that notice was issued on 26.11.2015 to all the 21 respondents through registered A.D. Mr. Saurabh Mishra and V.G. Pragasam, Advocates have entered vakalatnama on behalf of respondent nos. 1 and 15 respectively but have not filed counter affidavit. Mr. Pramod Dayal and M.T. George Advocate have entered vakalatnama on behalf of respondent nos. 2 and 14 and have also filed reply and counter affidavit respectively in the matter. Duly signed A.D. Cards have been received back in respect of respondent nos. 4, 5, 7, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 19 and 21 but no one has entered appearance on its behalf. Neither A.D. Card nor unserved cover have been received back in respect of respondent nos. 3, 6, 8, 9, 13, 18 and 20. Service is incomplete.

It is lastly submitted that Counsel for the appellant has not filed rejoinder affidavit in this matter so far.

The matters abovementioned are listed before the Hon'ble Court with this office report.
