Exercising jurisdiction under Article 142 of the Constitution and bearing in mind the fact that there is a settlement between the parties, the following cases stand quashed:

  • "(1) Crime No.332/2007 between State vs. Shyama Devi and Ors. in relation to Sections 419, 420, 467 and 471 IPC pending before the CJM, Fatehpur Uttar Pradesh;
  • (2) Proceeding under Section 145 Cr.P.C. pending before SDM, Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh in Case No.30/31 of 2001 (Ramdeen vs. Shyama Devi and Ors.) may also be quashed."

Hence, the special leave petitions are disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
