- 1. These two Special Leave Petitions arise out of a common dispute between the parties. Learned counsel for the respondents-private parties submitted that the dispute between the parties has been settled in terms of the settlement arrived at between the Signature Not Verified

parties before the District Legal Services Authority, Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh and therefore, these Special Leave Petitions could be disposed of in terms of the aforesaid settlement arrived at between the parties, a copy of which has also been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner(s) in Hindi.
- 2. Learned counsel for the respondents and learned counsel for the private respondents also endorsed the said submissions.
- 3. The parties namely Ramdeen and Shivkaran Singh are also physically present before this Court.
- 4. Consequently, it was also submitted that in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the following cases, namely:
(1) Crime No.332/2007 between State vs. Shyama Devi and Ors. in relation to Sections 419, 420, 467 and 471 IPC pending before the CJM, Fatehpur Uttar Pradesh;
(2) Proceeding under Section 145 Cr.P.C. pending before SDM, Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh in Case No.30/31 of 2001 (Ramdeen vs. Shyama Devi and Ors.) may also be quashed.
5. The aforesaid submission is placed on record and for the purpose of exercising jurisdiction under Article 142 of the Constitution, the matter is referred to the Court.

- 6. However, the settlement otherwise arrived at between the parties is recorded.
- 7. List on 12.08.2024 before the appropriate Bench.
