Issue notice on the application seeking condonation of 1. delay as well as on the appeal.

Mr. Soumya Dutta, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of ้the respondent-caveator.

There shall be an interim stay of the impugned judgment/order 3.

dated 23-07-2024 passed by the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), New Delhi until further orders, subject to the appellant-Bank depositing the decreetal amount with the Registry of this Court within a period of four weeks from today. On such deposit being made, the Registry shall redeposit the said amount in an interest bearing fixed deposit account in Bank of Maharashtra, Supreme Court Branch, New Delhi for an initial period of one year with automatic renewal.
