The matter above mentioned was listed before the Hon'ble Court on 22.4.2016 when the court was pleased to pass the following order:

"Issue notice.

In the meanwhile, the effect and operation of the impugned Order shall remain stayed.

List the matter along with S.L.P.(C) No. 28386/2015."

Accordingly, show cause notice was issued to al the 33 Respondents through Registered Post A.D.

Unserved cover containing show cause notice has been received back in respect of Respondent No.26 with postal remarks "Not residing at this address" and in respect of Respondent No.28 with postal remarks "No such person in this address".

A.D. Cards duly signed have been received back in respect of Respondent Nos. 8, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22, 24, 29 and 31.

Neither A.D. Card nor unserved cover containing show cause notice have been received back from other remaining Respondents.

Mr. Mukesh Kumar Maroria, Advocate has filed Vakalatnama/Appearance on behalf of Respondent No.9/C.B.I.

For completion of service, the matter alongwith its connected matter was listed before the Court of Registrar from Contd...2/- time to time and lastly listed on 8.8.2016 when the following order was passed:

"SLP(C) No. 29379/2015

Ld.counsel for the appearing respondents have failed to file the counter affidavit within the period stipulated under the rules. Service is complete. Viewed thus, the matter shall be processed for listing before the Hon'ble Court as per rules. Ld.counsel appearing on behalf of State of Meghalya seeks more time to file the counter affidavit, but his request has been declined.

SLP(Crl.)No. 2979/2016

Four weeks time as last chance is given to the Ld.counsel for the petitioner to comply with the terms of the order dated 29.06.2016 of this Court in respect of the respondent Nos.26 & 28.

Dasti in addition is permitted.

Ld.counsel for the petitioner is directed to take fresh steps in respect of the other unserved respondents within four weeks.

List the matter again on 20.09.2016."

Pursuant to order quoted above, Counsel for the Petitioner has on 6.9.2016 as a fresh steps filed fresh spare copy to issue notice. Fresh notice is yet to be issued on unserved Respondent Nos. 1 - 7, 10 – 15, 17, 21, 23, 25-28, 30, 32 & 33. Counsel for the Petitioner has not furnished the fresh address of unserved Respondent Nos. 26 and 28.

Service of show cause notice is complete on Respondent Nos. 8, 16, 18-20, 22, 24, 29 and 31 but no one has entered Vakalatnama/Appearance on behalf of them and service is incomplete in respect of Respondent Nos. 1 - 7, 10 – 15, 17, 21, 23, 25-28, 30, 32 & 33.

The matter alongwith its main matter SLP(C)No. 28386/2015 is listed before the Hon'ble Court with this office report.
