UPON perusing papers the Court made the following

O R D E R

The only issue that is presently before us in these interim applications is whether the mining lease holders have got environmental clearance or not.

In I.A. No. 9/2017, there is a list of 51 persons. It appears from a perusal of that list that the environmental clearance has been recommended in most of them.

There are total 82 mining lease holders but it not clear whether the remaining 31 mining lease holders have made application for environmental clearance or not.

In view of the above, the Ministry of Environment and Forest should check up whether the environmental clearance has been granted to the mining lessees and whether all of them have applied for environmental clearance and if so, the present status. The information should be filed in the form of a chart.

List the matter on 16th November, 2017.
