For Respondent(s)

UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

We are shocked that such matters travel to this Court in the guise of Section 24 of the Land Acquisition Act, when the acquisition had been made by issuing Notification Digitally signed by SARITA PUROHIT Date: 2017.11.25 12:41:35 IST Reason: Signature Not Verified

1

under Section 4 in 1959, Award was passed way back in the year 1977 and compensation was paid to the recorded owners. The petitioner allegedly purchased it in the year 1992 on the basis of G.P.A. and Agreement to Sell. Such sale after acquisition is void and there is no sale by unregistered document. We deprecate filing of such kind of petitions. Section 24 cannot at all be attracted in such a situation.

The special leave petitions are dismissed. Pending applications stand disposed of.
