UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
Learned counsel for the National Commission for Women says that a final report has been prepared and filed in this Court. A copy of the report be placed on the website of the NCW so that the Union of India can take necessary steps to comply with the directions/suggestions made in the final report.
It is further submitted by learned counsel for the NCW that certain directions are sought for in the interim report as mentioned in the order dated 29th April, 2016. She says that these directions have not been complied with. She also says that these interim directions have been mentioned in the final report also.
The Union of India should ensure that the directions are complied with at the earliest and file an affidavit in this regard within four weeks.
List the matters for final disposal on 29th March, 2017.
