Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks leave to withdraw the special leave petitions stating that for redressal of their grievance, the petitioners would like to pursue some other appropriate remedy as may be available to them in law.

Accordingly, the special leave petitions are dismissed as not pressed. Similarly, SLP..CC 22419/2011 seeking permission to file SLP is also dismissed as not pressed. It goes with saying that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the grounds urged in the present petitions. As and when the petitioners take recourse to any other appropriate remedy the same shall be considered on its own merits.
