The matter abovementioned were listed before Hon'ble Court on 12th December, 2014 when the court was pleased to pass the following order:

"Leave granted.

There shall be interim stay of the impugned judgment and order passed by the High Court, subject to the appellant's depositing 50% of the cess levied and demanded by the respondents, within four weeks' time from today. If such deposit is not made, the respondents will be at liberty to issue appropriate demand notice to recover the entire cess liability from the appellant.

It is submitted that service of Notice of Lodgement of Petition of Appeal is complete as the all respondents are represented through Mr. Kamal Mohan Gupta, Advocate. He has filed counter affidavit at SLP stage.

It is further submitted that counsel for both the parties have not filed statement of case despite this Registry's notice dated 1st June, 2016. Time to file statement of case has already been expired. Appeal is ready for hearing as per amended Supreme Court Rules, 2013.

The matters abovementioned are listed before Ld. Registrar's Court with this Office Report.
