The application for exemption from surrendering (Criminal Miscellaneous Petition No. 22536 Of 2014) in the matter above mentioned was listed before the Hon'ble Judge in Chambers on 20.07.2015, when His Lordship was pleased to pass the following order:
"In case proof of surrender is not filed within one week from today, the Special Leave Petition shall stand dismissed without further reference to the Court."
It is submitted that counsel for the petitioner has not filed proof of surrender of the petitioner within the stipulated time. Hence the Special Leave Petition was updated as dismissed.
Now, Mr. Binay Kumar Das, Counsel for the petitioner has on 19.05.2016 filed an Application above mentioned for restoration of Special Leave Petition along with proof of surrender of the petitioner, which is barred by time by 267 days, duly supported by an application for condonaiton of delay in filing the same.
The applications in the matter above mentioned are listed before the Hon'ble Judge in Chambers.
