UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
1. Delay condoned.
2. It is a specific case of the petitioner that the
possession of the land is still with the original land owners and they are either engaged in cultivation or commercial activities on the said land.
3. It is further submitted that the land is no more required for expansion of the highways, inasmuch as the Public Works Department has already constructed four lane road.
4. Issue notice, returnable in four weeks.
5. In addition to the usual mode, liberty is granted to the petitioner to serve notice through the Standing Counsel for the respondent/State.
6. Until further order(s), there shall be stay of the contempt proceedings.
