1. We are not persuaded to condone the delay of 408, 416 and 407 days respectively in filing the petitions for special leave to appeal in the instant case. The petitions for special leave to appeal are, accordingly, dismissed on the ground of delay along with pending application(s), if any.

2. Needless to state that we have not made any observation on the merits of the pleas taken in the instant matters.
