agreed that over and above the compensation which has been awarded by the High Court, a lump sum amount of Rs 9.50 lakhs would be paid by respondent no 3 to the petitioners on or before 31 August 2024.

• 3 There shall be an award of the Lok Adalat in the above terms.
• 4 The above amount shall be in full and final settlement of the claim of the petitioners for compensation under the Motor Vehicles Act 1988.
• 5 The Special Leave Petition is accordingly disposed of.
