UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
Perused order dated 6th January, 2025. We have perused the office report. The Registry has not complied with our order. The minimum is expected from the Registry was that a list of SLPs where notice has not been issued should be incorporated in the report.
Registry should have prepared a separate list of cases where notices have not been issued but I.As. are pending. In fact, earlier order directed that only those cases where notice has not been issued or where service is not complete or where I.As. are pending should be listed. But the Registry has not complied with our order dated 6th January, 2025.
The Registrar (Judicial) shall look into this aspect and explain why such a simple order cannot be complied with by filing a
3
proper office report and by separating the cases as directed. If the Registry did not understand the meaning of our last order, they should have sought clarification from us.
List on next Monday i.e. 17th February, 2025.
We hope and trust that a proper office report shall be submitted by the Registry by Friday i.e. 14th February, 2025 and only those cases which are directed to be listed shall be listed.
Diary No.59048/2024
We permit the petitioner to file amended petition by correcting the error in the prayer clause.
