UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following

$1$ Heard Mr. Arya Hardik, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

$2.$ This is the second attempt by the election petitioner to seek a direction from this Court for quick disposal of the election petition filed by the petitioner, which is pending in the High Signa De Not Terrift Earlier, when the petitioner filed the SLP (Civil) No. 3653 Titr09 2024, this Court on 19.02.2024 had declined to stipulate any time frame for disposal of the election petition by the High Court.

Notwithstanding the above, another Special Leave Petition is filed containing similar prayer.

3. Such a second petition in our understanding is entirely misconceived. The Special Leave Petition is accordingly dismissed imposing a cost of Rs.50,000/- against the petitioner. The cost amount be remitted to Supreme Court Legal Services Committee within four weeks from today.

4. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand closed.
