A letter is circulated by learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, seeking two weeks' time to file reply to the I.A.No.4 in S.L.P.(C)No.31233 of 2010.

The request made in the letter is opposed by learned counsel appearing for respondents no.5 to 9. Therefore, in our view, in the ends of justice, the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner requires to be granted on payment of costs of Rs.1,000/- to be deposited in the Supreme Court Employees' Mutual Welfare Fund within a week's time from today.

Accordingly, the matter stands adjourned by a week's time, subject to the petitioner depositing a sum of Rs.1,000/- as directed above.
