The Supreme Court Mediation Centre has reported that the parties have settled their disputes amicably. The written settlement, which was reduced in writing, has been forwarded to this Court along with the report.

Today, Mr. Ashwani Garg, learned counsel for the respondent has handed over the first installment of Rs. 4,00,000/- (rupees four lakhs only) by way of Demand Draft No. 011315 dated 12/7/2013 drawn on HDFC Bank, Gurgaon to Mr. R.R. Dubey, learned counsel for the petitioner. He further submits that the remaining amount of Rs. 15 lakhs, as per the settlement, shall be paid on time. 3. We find from the settlement that second installment of Rs. 5 lakhs is to be paid by the respondent-husband to the petitioner-wife within six months from the date of signing the settlement and the third and last installment of Rs 10 lakhs is to be paid within nine months from the date of signing the settlement i.e. 9.5.2013. 4. In our view, it would be appropriate if the matter is taken up after the last payment of installment is made by the respondent husband to the petitioner-wife.
