UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

There is a dispute between the parties regarding the date of filing of the application under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act before the concerned officer. The High Court has mentioned the date of the filing of application as 8.7.1986 whereas the Land Acquisition Officer, in his proceedings, has noted that the date of the application of the petitioner(s) is 16.08.1987.

This dispute needs to be resolved for coming to a correct conclusion. Hence Mr. Nishant R. Katneshwarkar, learned counsel appearing for the State is directed to get the original records from the Land Acquisition Officer and place before this Court with the affidavit of the concerned officer.
