UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

Mr. Abhikalp Pratap Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. Gaurav Agrawal, learned counsel, submitted that a third report of the Justice Sri Jagan Committee has been filed before this Court. Additionally, it is put fourth by him that the Committee has already given two more reports and he may be permitted to file them. The prayer is accepted. Mr. Singh, would submit that the State may be directed to implement the report as regards the compensation.

Mr. C.K. Sasi, learned counsel appearing for the State of Kerala submits that the reports of the Committee as regards the compensation shall be implemented within four weeks hence.

At this juncture, Mr. Sabu Stephen, the petitioner appearing in person submitted that he has filed an application for construction of shelter homes for stray dogs. Learned counsel for the State of Kerala shall obtain instructions in this regard and also file an affidavit. Needless to say, there has to be protection for the stray dogs in accordance with law and keeping that in view, an affidavit by the competent authority of the State shall be filed by the next date.
